Comic

So, I've been wanting to start a comic of my own for...awhile now, though every time I start a story line, it always falls apart and I end up with no comic. :c But this time, I've got a really solid idea. ;3

The comic focuses around Aki, my fursona, and her pendant. Unknown to her, the pendant she wears is part of an ancient legend, one that involves the stability of the world...wow. That totally sounded uninteresting. I assure you, it'll be a whole lot more entertaining than that! xDD

You can keep up with the updates I'll be posting here: Crimson Spirits blog . Though I won't be uploading any pages of the comic until Jan. 2010. That'll give me time to write out most of the story and figure out what kind of upload schedule I want to get on. Right now, it'll probably be 1 page every 1-2 weeks. ;3

10/16 Mid-month Update:

Fall break's over, it's cold, and it's been raining for 4 days straight! Sounds like fun, right? xD

So mid-October update! You guys probably never read these but I figure I should keep this up to date with what I'm doing. ;3

I'm starting on moar reference sheets since the sign up for TLKFAA's 2009 Secret Santa start end of this month. I'm going to need updated ref sheets for all the chars I plan on asking people to draw this year plus make new ref sheets for chars that don't have one yet.

Halloween's in 2 weeks too! *loves Halloween more than she should*



I should probably update this since I'm not the featured artist on TLKFAA's front page anymore. Oh well, being AotM was a blast while it lasted! <3



So like I mentioned on my last upload, school's making it really tough for me to upload regularly. I'm trying my best to get at least one "finished" pic up every other weekend with a bunch of sketches and unfinished things more often. We'll see how long that lasts. xD I'm on fall break this Mon/Tues so I've got a well-deserved 4 day weekend to get something done and uploaded before school starts again.

I want to get a Halloween themed pic up this week too since Oct. 31st is right around the corner. Anyone have any suggestions? D:

I thought I had more to 'update' my journal with but I can't remember what I wanted to say now. >< It's getting late anyway (1:05am! D: ) and I gotta get up early tomorrow. I'll probably edit this later

So, it turns out all those crazy artists on TLKFAA wanted to make me AotM this month! xDD I really really wasn't expecting to get such an awesome award any time soon, let alone this month. :3 Lawl, I still honestly don't think my art is "Artist of the Month" worthy but I guess I'm proved wrong. c:

<sub>School starts for me tomorrow...seems like summer vacation just start yesterday too. I guess I'm sorta excited to go back, y'know, to see old friends and all, but I could still go for another month or two of summer vacation! xD

So yea, expect to see a major change in my online time between now and next weekend until I get used to my school schedule again. I'll try my best to upload more than I did last year during school though. ;3 I've been thinking of scanning all the random doodles I do on my worksheets and stuff this year, just to give myself something to upload. xD</sub>
